Must See Printmaking Exhibitions

Greetings Printmakers!
I wish to call attention to the Getty-funded, multi-venue, multi-month mass of art exhibitions in So Cal beginning October 1st. “Pacific Standard Time” is a huge project designed to describe, document and display works done in the greater Los Angeles region by LA-based artists during the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s.
An extraordinary opportunity to understand ourselves in light of hundreds of artists who have made art during our lifetimes in our region.
I especially recommend the survey of Rise of Printmaking in Los Angeles at the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena , which opens in a few weeks.
Sullivan Goss and the Santa Barbara Museum of Art
are doing shows this Fall as part of Pacific Standard Time.
See you there!
Live to Print! Print to Live!
